7-Sphere Cultural Transformation

Dennis Peacocke — Intro & Principles

Mark Beliles — Commmunity Transformation

We are a collaborative community of Christian leaders, churches and organizations working to accelerate transformation in our cities and nations through long-term comprehensive 7-sphere action based on a Biblical worldview.

Watch videos at left for introductions by Dennis and Mark.

We believe the Bible contains the principles and guidelines for every sphere of life. To the degree that nations apply those principles, liberty, justice and prosperity comes to its citizens regardless of religion, race, gender or class.

We believe Jesus Christ especially wants His followers to “go and disciple all the nations” (Matthew 28:19). To win souls for heaven and build churches is of first priority, but then Jesus expressed His desire for results (i.e. “signs” or indicators evident among us, Mark 16:17,18) in the nations, namely transformation of spiritual, intellectual, political, financial, and social areas of society.

To accomplish this our strategy is to train and connect leaders in local communities all across a nation to serve in seven strategic spheres of cultural influence, all in the context of democratic pluralism.

The 7 Key Spheres of Society

  • A – Arts, Media, Entertainment, Sports
  • B – Business, Trade, Banking, Charity
  • C – Church, religion, ethics
  • D – Doctors, Health and Creation care
  • E – Education, Universities, Science
  • F – Family, childen, parents
  • G – Government, Law, Politics

Community Action Councils

Rebuilding strategic local “companies”

We recognize that real transformation happens locally. Our approach is not by centralizing everything, but by empowering leaders where they are. In the Bible, the “Elders in the gates” managed their cities. Today we help pastors, business leaders and ministry activists to come together regularly to pray for their cities, its leaders and then address the social issues created by social fragmentation. The goal is to connect and mobilize leaders in practical service and projects that exalt Jesus Christ in a multi-jurisdictional way, based on Biblically based research, and Holy Spirit inspired, “proven-to-work” solutions. Local Action Councils organize public dialogue events and various service projects.

Sustaining the vision by building long lasting institutions and financing strategies.

Our organization is much more focused on developing a deep Scriptural basis for the big mission of “making disciples of the nations” (Matt 28) than many other groups that care about various social concerns. So we always emphasize first in-depth teaching from the Bible on the core purpose and principles and best-practices for the key parts of a nation.

But besides teaching on these things, we then work with leaders in a coaching style that helps them to come together as a united team with a long-term strategic plan that truly will transform their city. Having done this now for 40 years, we have found from experience that when people develop a long-term plan and unify to work as a local team on those goals, then nations have really seen major impact. It may not show up in the next election, but it shows up within several years and certainly in the next generation.

We developed materials in print & video. These transformation tools are available as well as self-assessment tools to help leaders discover where they need to grow and improve.
